The Pennsylvania Partnership for the Deafblind (PPDB) is an organized network of individuals with deafblindness, their parents and family members, friends, service providers and other interested people. We support our members as they deal with the daily issues of life, such as relationships with family and friends, health, education, finances, employment, insurance, service agencies and others. PPDB is a 501(c)(3) organization.
Contributions are tax deductible. PPDB is a State Affiliate of the National Family Association for Deaf-Blind (NFADB).

The Partnership exists to: Provide support for individuals with deafblindness and their families through a family-driven network.

Private school with a residential component that provides services to students who are deaf or hard of hearing who also have behavioral or emotional needs. Also has an autism program.
Program Type: Pressley Ridge CSS provides support services for Deaf, DeafBlind and Hard of Hearing through quality interpreting services, assessment, training and consultation.
Committed to bridging the gaps between the hearing and deaf worlds both in a career setting where they support professional development of deaf employees, and in a mental health setting where they support children, families and adults with attention to their unique cultural and communication needs. Presley Ridge provides skilled sign language interpreters (generalists and mental health trained interpreters), interpreter training, staff and organizational training and consultation and communication assessments, consultation and recommendations for people with communication differences.
Population Served: Anyone with hearing loss, sign language users, individuals with communication differences, ID, autism spectrum, children and adults, families.Reimbursement: Fee for service.Qualification of Staff: Varies by position.Language Fluency: ASL Fluent and fluent in English.Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible.

Focuses mainly on American Sign Language and the Deaf community, our services can also be generalized to include people with other, unique communication differences.
Pressley Ridge School for the Deaf is a year-round Approved Private School with a residential component that serves students who are Deaf or hard of hearing and also identified as having behavioral or emotional need or are on the Autism Spectrum. Some students also have intellectual disabilities or are identified as having multiple disabilities.
Current Services: Emotional support school with a residential component, behavioral therapy services onsite and medication management
Program Type: Approved private school placement with a residential component.
Population Served: Students who are deaf and identified as Emotionally Disturbed or on the Autism Spectrum
Reimbursement: Local school districts (LEA) and the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
Number of Clients Served Annually: Approximately 20 including both day students and students who also reside in the PRSD dorms.
