Residential Treatment Program for Men. Deaf case-manager, Deaf mental health counselor, Deaf peer counselor, primary treatment with interpreter provision. Hope House currently has designated 12 beds for this population.
Provides dual-diagnosis services (addictions and mental health) for individuals who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. All staff members are fluent in ASL, and staff interpreters are present at all times. Programs include Methadone and Buprenorphine Maintenance, Intensive Outpatient Program, Detoxification Services, and Mobile Addictions Counseling.
44-bed inpatient treatment program. Provide ASL interpreting services to Deaf and Hard of Hearing patients and support from Deaf peer counselors. Treatment aims are to provide a psychologically and physically safe environment for recovery, facilitate stabilization of patient emotionally and physically, explore choices and motivation for sober living, develop strategies and resources to carry out change, facilitate chemical dependency education and information services.
Residential program for women. Average stay 60-90 days.

SAISD is a grant based program operated by Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) and located on the RIT Campus in Rochester New York. SAISD provides drug and addiction information, education, prevention, intervention and referral services to the deaf/ hard of hearing community residing in the Greater Rochester area of New York State as well as to students at National Technical Institute for the Deaf (NTID).
